When you plan to make margarita recipes for your cocktail party guests, you can mix it up with frozen drinks, "on the rocks" or fruity blends.
The classic margarita is always popular, but you never know who prefers it frozen or on the rocks. So it's good to know how to make both, and then you can try offering different flavors such as strawberry margaritas, mango margaritas and others.
Let's start with one of our favorite frozen margaritas. Several more delicious recipes follow.
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS
1 large can Minute Maid Frozen Limeade Concentrate (thawed a bit before putting in blender)
Tequila (We use Jose Cuervo Gold, but you can make it extra smooth with Jose Cuervo Black)
Triple Sec
Fresh lime, cut into slices
Margarita salt (course salt)
Lots of ice cubes
You'll need a blender for this frozen drink.
RECIPE
Makes 4 drinks, depending on the size of your margarita glasses.

INGREDIENTS FOR 1 SERVING
3 oz. Tequila (Jose Cuervo Gold or another golden tequila)
1 oz. Triple Sec
2-3 oz. lime juice (fresh-squeezed is best)
Coarse salt (margarita salt)
Slices of lime
Lots of ice cubes
You'll need a cocktail shaker for this drink.
RECIPE
INGREDIENTS FOR 2-3 SERVINGS
4 oz. Tequila
2 oz. Triple Sec
2 oz. lime juice (fresh-squeezed is best)
12 crushed fresh strawberries (or 4 oz. partially thawed frozen strawberries, unsweetened)
Coarse salt or sugar (your guest's preference)
Fresh strawberry slices
Lots of ice cubes
RECIPE
Depending on the size of your margarita glasses, this will make 2-3 servings.
